By Car Tynings House is off the A39 between Wells (2 miles) and Glastonbury (3 miles). Coming from Wells direction, as you enter the village of Coxley, you’ll pass the Riverside Restaurant on your right hand side, then the Pound Inn also on your right hand side. Look out for the Church on your left hand side. Turn left at the Church into Harters Hill Lane. Follow the rabbit signs. Pass rows of houses. At the end of the houses, you'll see a de-restriction sign. Then within 200 metres there is a left hand turn (beside two green wheelie bins) into our drive. Follow the drive down to the end where there'll be parking. Tynings House is on the right hand side. Coming from Glastonbury, you’ll pass the Camelot Inn in Polesham on your left hand side. As you enter Coxley, you pass Coxley Vineyard on your right hand side. Almost immediately afterwards, turn right at the Church into Harters Hill Lane. Then directions as per paragraph above.

London Paddington to Castle Cary is approximately one and three quarter hours. We are approximately thirty minutes by taxi from Castle Cary. London Paddington to Bath is approximately one and a half hours and a taxi would take approximately forty five minutes. |

Buses run regularly to Wells from Bristol, Bath, Yeovil, Bridgewater, Taunton and Glastonbury. There is a bus stop at Harters Hill Lane, Coxley. Tynings House is a five minute walk from the bus stop. |
